Prado Basin HRC - Ladies Shoot and Fun Day (Saturday, May 19, 2012)

Prado Basin HRC will be hosting a ladies shoot and fun day at Raahauge's Shooting Enterprises and Prado Dog Park in Chino on May 19th. This will be a great opportunity to lean more about gun safety and about handing your dog while also handling a gun.

Instruction will be provided by certified safety instructors and guns, field equipment, and lunch will also be provided.

Registration Cost: $50 - Prado Basin HRC Members, $65 - Non-Members.

Additional cost of $14 per round and ammo for shooting practice.

5 Stand/Trap Shoot (Saturday, July 21, 2012)

We will be hosting a 5 stand and trap shoot for all members and their guests at the San Luis Obispo Sportsmen's Association shooting range.

This is a great opportunity to improve your shotgunning skills and for the less/inexperienced shooter to learn more about the sport of shotgunning. This is a family event so bring your family and friends along for a fun day at the San Luis Obispo Sportsmen’s Association.

Event registration is free. Guests are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a CCHRC member.

Rounds of 5 stand are $7.00 and trap rounds will be $5.00 per round.

Be sure to bring plenty of shells. If you don't own a shotgun don't worry about it there will be plenty to use and people to help with instruction. If you will be using a club gun then be sure to purchase 12 gauge 2 ¾ inch #7, #7 1/2 or #8 lead shot, Walmart is currently the cheapest place to purchase.
