About the Trainer

Dennis Hayre has been training dogs since 1991. He successfully competes at the highest levels in hunt test and field trials. His goal is to train dogs to their full potential while cultivating a positive working attitude in the dogs and getting great results.

That being said, Dennis feels some of his greatest successes have not been the dogs with the most ribbons.

Hayre Kennels thinks it’s a failure to get results (titles and the like) at the expense of the dog’s well-being and/or a positive working attitude.

Dennis feels that balance is the key to successful dog training. This will be discussed at the seminar.

Dennis believes how you sequence training is the key to cultivating a positive working attitude in the dogs as well as getting the results we all want.

A big part of that is doing a lot of drills verse just setting up tests.

Dennis believes the right drills done correctly can make a huge difference in the dog’s performance and attitude. He will discuss this at length at the seminar.
